Before co-working was an accepted way of working, Shilo was a space built to accommodate individuals and groups coming together on a project and freelancers working out of the same space.
Across the floor plate that spans the width of a city block, we created one large curving desk that anchors the main room, with small enclosed offices and support areas to the perimeter.
The project saw a gut renovation of 120 year old structure to the bones and update it for the people and infrastructure of the 21st century, while preserving the landmark district requirements.
